Our purpose is to bring young people
into our organization and show them what our profession is
all about. The average age of our members has steadily
climbed for the last ten years! We need to recruit young
members. We hope this program will:
Give the student insight to their career choice
Provide an opportunity for introducing potential
employees to potential employers
Knowledge sharing (both parties can learn something
from the other)
Revitalize our organization with new blood and youth
You can sponsor a 1 year student membership for $30
In addition to the student member sponsorship, there are
other ways to participate in this program...
If you would like to pay for a students meal at one of the
local meetings, simply contact your local chapter President.
Brenda Blevins stands ready to coordinate and facilitate
efforts as Bo Young issues a "call to action" for local
leaders...
Bo Young asks each local chapter President to contact at
least one accounting instructor/teacher at a local community
college or university to obtain the names of two students to
invite to your next meeting.
Each year college scholarships are awarded through NSA. We are
stepping up our efforts to recruit young people with our new
program called "Student Nights"!
